    Abstract

    The Portuguese navigation system was established in the 15th century as the first learning organization (LO) and achieved great success. The high similarity of the Portuguese navigation system to Project-Based Organizations (PBOs) inspires the development of a model for Project-Based Learning Organizations (PBLOs). This study analyzed the Portuguese navigation system and its components, based on which a model for PBLO was proposed. Multiple case studies were conducted with two PBOs in the oil and gas industries in order to validate and revise the proposed model. The data was collected from interviews with 20 individuals involved in project and knowledge management in the PBOs. A total of 615 statements made by interviewees were coded and su

    Abstract

    Implementation of infrastructure projects in a country is one of the key issues in the country economic growth. However, increasing the claim in the projects is inversely related to the objectives of the project due to the lack of understanding of the factors that create it and the impact of its factors on each other, especially in underground projects that we involve with many unknowns. In this research, for identifying the claim paths in DBF Tehran metro projects, after the library studies and review documents, we determined the main factors of the claim. Then, the effect of the causation factors on each other was analyzed using the system dynamics method, and finally, the most important paths that led to cost increases were identified as

    Journal PapersOrganizational Behaviour Studies Quarterly , Volume 8 , Issue 4, 2019 December 22, {Pages 87-118 }

    Abstract

    Despite the implementation of tools and techniques of project management, studies show many project failures. One of the complex human and organizational features is the emotions in the project that if not properly identified, controlled and managed, leads to many problems, such as clashes, strikes, excessive conflicts, psychological pressures, disturbances and crises. Literature addresses it as an individual emotional intelligence problem. But individual emotional intelligence cannot, first of all, fully address the above- mentioned problems, especially in the project context, and secondly, the project organization must be structured to allow the use of individual emotional intelligence capabilities to the project Staff, and thirdly, staff

    Abstract

    Project’s isconsidered a convenient space for learning, due to the temporary nature of the projects, this learning does not become institutionalized in projectbased organizations (PBOs). Certain models have already been presented in the area of operational organizations in order to form the concept of a learning organization (LO), but these models cannot be used to integrate the learning concept into this type of organizations. By literature review of learning in project-based organization and by identifying 4 subjects of this field a primary model for PBLO is developed. This study examines the efficiency of a primary model of PBLO by conducting a qualitative research on two PBOs in the oil and gas industries. It then revises the model ac

    Abstract

    Studies in the field of learning and organization have changed through formation of the concept of a learning organization. As a result various models have been developed and customized for project based organizations. Still, they have not yet been customized for Project Based Organizations, as a very important category of organizations with growing importance. The special requirements of project based organizations in learning demands the development of a special model for project based learning organizations (PBLOs). This is routed in the temporary nature of projects. This study aims to develop a paradigmatic model for PBLOs based on case studies in two project based organizations of oil and gas industries. The strategy of the study is st
